Trees In Our Communities Forum Award WinnersOutstanding Forestry Project: Recognizes an outstanding single project or program that has made a positive impact on the urban forest. Particular consideration is given to projects that can be duplicated or adapted for use by other communities or institutions. Outstanding Forestry Leader: Recognizes an individual who works for an organization or whose business is related to urban forestry. This person's made outstanding contributions to the urban forestry effort at the local, regional, and/or state level. Outstanding Forestry Organization: Given to the local city or county administration, tree board, or tree committee that has made outstanding accomplishments in completing urban forestry projects, provided exemplary tree care leadership, and made significant progress in meeting the goals of their local urban forestry program. Outstanding Corporate Sponsor: Recognizes the company that demonstrates true corporate citizenship and dedication to protecting and enhancing community forest resources in NKY. This company is a valuable partner and supporter of NKUCFC programs and its mission. Outstanding Council Service: Recognizes individuals who have demonstrated a longstanding and strong commitment of time, passion, and expertise to the Northern Kentucky Urban & Community Forestry Council. |
