The Northern Kentucky Urban & Community Forestry Council is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.NKUCFC is an interdisciplinary group of citizens and professionals who support the work of existing organizations and agencies interested in urban forestry. We provide a forum of learning by researching and sharing technical information on the value of urban forestry. At NKUCFC, we help communities improve the management of their trees and green spaces to protect and enhance them for our future generations. With our annual events, we offer opportunities for others to join us in these efforts! We are the art, science, and technology of managing trees, forests, and natural systems in and around urban areas for the health and well being of our communities. |

What is urban forestry?It is a combination of individual trees, parks, green spaces, street trees, and small remnants of woods and forests in an urban area. The urban forest is strongly connected to local waterways, wildlife, and people, as it is vital to our ecosystems.
