Northern Kentucky Tree Week
Tree Week is an opportunity to celebrate trees throughout Northern Kentucky. We know that trees create a more powerful resource for wildlife when connected via corridors, and similarly, we can create a better celebration if all the Northern Kentucky cities celebrate together! No idea is too big or too small for tree week, and you don't have to be a tree expert to host an event. Maybe you're a painter and would like to host a tree-themed plein-air? Or a librarian who knows all the best tree books and crafts? Maybe there's a tree tour, tree poem night, or tree planting in your heart to share with us? If you're in Boone, Campbell, or Kenton County and are ready to join us for a fun-filled fall forestry frenzy, please sign up by clicking the link below. The 2024 Tree Week will take place from October 11-20, and we encourage attendance be open to all 3 counties, when possible. Examples include tree plantings, tree mulching, gardens, walks, hikes, lectures, workshops, crafts, book readings, exercising with the trees, music among the trees, and others. The possibilities are endless! |
